Who We Are

The Indian Cultural
Heritage Centre

ICHC is a Durham Region initiative dedicated to celebrating and preserving Indian cultural heritage. We bring together artists, associations, families, and the wider community to present India with authenticity, intention, and joy.

Authentic Representation

We present Indian culture as it is lived, rooted in real traditions and real communities.

Community-Driven

Built with the Indian associations of Durham Region, for the broader community.

Cultural Responsibility

Every decision we make is guided by respect for the traditions we present.

The Event

Fiesta Week and
The Indian Pavilion

For over 50 years, Fiesta Week has brought the world to Oshawa. Visitors carry a festival passport and move from pavilion to pavilion, each offering a glimpse into a different culture through food, performance, and community.

This year, for the first time, India is present. Four shows daily, each 30 minutes. Each one a first impression for many in the audience. We take that seriously.
